Missions





	Southside’s commitment to world wide missions is based in the scriptural mandate to "make disciples" of the nations- Matthew 28:18-20. Our missions ministry exists for the purpose of extending our influence for the Kingdom to other cultures, nations and peoples. Missions is an extension of our evangelistic efforts locally. The Missions giving is divided into three categories: Foreign missions, Domestic missions, and Educational missions. Our foreign missions are Agape Ministries to Russia (Dr. Bill Becknell) and South African Christian Mission (Steve Zimmerman), Makoto & Delaina Miyazaki in Japan. Our domestic missions are WAY FM Christian hit radio, The Gabriel House, Inc., Family Ministries of Florida, Southwest Florida Teen Challenge, Lee Women’s Center, Lake Aurora Christian Camp. The educational missions include Lincoln Christian College/Seminary and Southside youth who attend a Christian College. Mission Statement We will prayerfully and financially support ministries both locally and abroad that are making a difference for the kingdom of God. We are committed to continually expand our vision and outreach to others as God enables us. To be good stewards of the finances God provides by using them wisely and generously. To conduct all business matters with the highest degree of integrity, aligning our values and decisions with the Word of God.
