The Youth Ministries at Southside Christian Church is committed to do whatever it takes to reach the young people of Lee County with the truth of God’s love and help them grow in their relationship with Christ. That’s an incredible task for anyone to tackle. The skeptic says impossible, the cynic says there’s no hope. The newspaper and television report daily on the high rates of teen violence, drug use, crime and sexual activity. Through this lens, the future looks very dark and hopeless. What they don’t know is that God is raising up an under-current of young people who are taking on the challenge of being more than just survivors, they want to change their world!

Join us in our new Family Life Center and the new facilities in the Youth Rec Room that the teens themselves have done to attract not only thier friends but new families to the church. Spiritual growth is much more than pool tables and foozball, however, it is our endeavour to provide a safe and attractive atmosphere that creates favorable conditions for learning and growing in the Lord.
