•Celebrative Worship God desires the praises of His people, and Christ has given us something to celebrate. We unashamedly lift up God with organized yet exciting worship. One of the highlights of our church is our Children's Choir, which presents top quality performances periodically.

•Positive relationships God is a relational God, and He values an intimate relationship with each of His children through Christ. He also values unity among His people. Unity is not an option at Southside, as we insist on wholesome friendships. One of the places where many solid friendships are formed is in our Home Groups, which meet twice a month.

•Christ-centered preaching/teaching We believe the scriptures are God's way of communicating to His people. We believe the main doctrines of historic Christianity, but also realize that the focus of the scriptures is Jesus Christ. As the Apostle Paul said, "We proclaim Him." (Colossians 1:28)

•Need-centered ministries Because we believe that Christ is sufficient for every human need, our Ladies Ministry, our Seniors Ministry, our Ministries to Youth and Children address the spiritual, emotional and social needs that are met by a relationship with Christ.

•Family Focus Our newly constructed Family Life Center is a haven for family activities and classes. Realizing the acute needs of today's families, we are stressing family issues as part of our weekly curriculum, like the "Overcoming Codependency" class currently being offered on Wednesday night.

•Pre-School Step By Step Christian Day School offers a Christ-centered approach to education for pre-schoolers, in a loving environment. We realize the opportunity to impact these children (and their families) for Christ at an early age.

•Having Fun! The Christian life is the best there is. We are not afraid of laughter at Southside. Whether it is through our special days, our softball team, Wednesday dinners, or just "hanging out," we cultivate a light spirit where people are free to be themselves and be accepted.
