It was once said that "the church exists for those who don't yet belong to it". The philosophy of Southside's Ministries Programs are to not only grow our members spiritually, but to make an attractive atmosphere for other "non-members" to get involved and really see the true fabric of what makes the church so valuable.

Our various ministries are activities, usually led by a team, people with a passion in there heart. They help us fulfill our mission of bringing people to Christ, maturing them in Christ, and equipping them to serve Christ. The ministries are also outlets for people to use their spiritual gifts, abilities and passions.

The Women’s ministry helps develop spiritual depth and personal closeness between the women of the church. The Children’s ministry features Sunday School, Children’s Church (The Locker Room), and a world class Children’s Choir. Step By Step Christian Day School allows us to minister to families of pre-school age children. The ministry to Mens, Senior Adults and our Home Groups Bible Studies are also relationship building tools and the Sports ministry that sponsers an adult softball team in a christian league and children's soccer teams.

We are confident that you will be able to find your "passion" in one the many ministries we now have in place. We are open to starting new ministries as capable people emerge who can lead them. It's people that make up a church, and it's the ministries that the work of the Holy Spirit can be seen in. Come'on! What are you waiting for?
